Are the sauna and steam room included in my membership?
Yes!
There are saunas and steam rooms in each of the locker rooms. There is no extra charge for members to use these amenities.
Do you offer a punch card option for those who prefer to take classes without a membership?
At this time, we do not offer a monthly payment option for classes without a membership. However, we are working on a new system to better support our community in achieving their fitness goals on their own terms. Please check back soon for updates!!
Until then, members can add unlimited classes to their discounted membership for just $30/month, or pay $5 per class.
Example: If the Active & Fit program cost $25/month* and you add unlimited classes, you could potentially
enjoy a dynamic workout routine for only $55/month!

Non-members can also drop into a class for $15, which includes a day pass to the North Club Health and Fitness facility, as well as access to the sauna and steam room for the day!
How do I determine if my insurance includes a program that is accepted by The North Club Health & Fitness?
To find out if your insurance provider offers a gym discount program accepted by the North Club Health & Fitness, consider the following:
1. Check Your Insurance Provider’s Website
Log into your member portal on your insurer’s website.
Look for sections such as “Wellness Programs,” “Member Discounts,” or “Fitness Benefits.”
2. Contact Customer Service
The fastest way to obtain details is by calling the customer service number on your insurance card.
Inquire about available gym discounts, reimbursements, or partnerships with specific fitness centers.
3. Review Your Policy Documents
Consult your benefits guide or policy documents for information regarding fitness-related perks.
Pay attention to programs supported by The North Club Health & Fitness, including:

GlobalFit
Active&Fit

the same insurance company can have different discount programs. For example:
Mount Nittany Medical Center employees have Highmark insurance, which, for many employees, includes a program called Active&Fit. This program is accepted at The North Club Health & Fitness and reduces the basic membership cost to $28/month*
Penn State employees also have Highmark, but their employer supports the Prime program, which is also accepted at North Club, but may have a different membership cost
Your insurance may also offer a reimbursement program for gym memberships. Be sure to check with your provider to see if you're eligible for savings
How do I claim my insurance discount at
The North Club Health & Fitness?
your fitness id is all that is needed to Begin Your discounted Membership at North Club!
Create an account through your discount program.
Bring your Fitness ID (this will be provided by the insurance program after payment) to North Club during staffed hours to have your photo taken and receive your keycard for entrance.
Example of the Enrollment Process for Active&Fit:
Visit blue365deals.com.
Click "Join" to create a username and password.
Select the Fitness tab.
Click "Details" under the Active&Fit Direct program.
Click “Verify Eligibility” and complete the eligibility form to confirm your coverage.
After eligibility is verified, you will be directed to the Active&Fit Direct website.
Enroll in the Active&Fit program.
Review your purchase in the shopping cart, enter payment information, and click “Submit”.
Bring Fitness ID to North Club for keycard processing.
How do I activate my new Fit On account?
Register your account
Visit fitonhealth.com/register.
Create an account by entering your email address and choosing a secure password. Click Next.
On the next screen, enter the following details as they appear with your health plan:
○ First Name
○ Last Name
○ Date of Birth (format: MM/DD/YYYY)
○ Zip Code
Click Submit.

Moved recently? Try your previous Zip code. Name mismatch? Use your legal name or the
name on your insurance. Date of birth issue? Double-check the format (MM/DD/YYYY).
COMPLETE YOUR PROFILE
If eligibility is confirmed, you'll be prompted to answer a few "About You"
questions to customize your FitOn Health profile.
Note: This step is required to proceed successfully with the registration process
ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT
Once your profile is complete, you'll land on the "For You" page.
To confirm your fitness allowance:
○ Click the menu icon in the top-right corner.
○ Select Wallet to view your allowance.
Purchase your membership
Once you’re ready to purchase a membership to a facility, under the
Membership section, review the fitness fund cost (displayed in purple).
If your allowance covers the cost:
○ Click Purchase Membership to confirm.
If your allowance does not cover the full cost:
○ Click Purchase Membership and select Add Card to add a credit card to your FitOn Health account.
○ Your card will be charged the difference owed to ensure a successful purchase and renewal.
You'll receive an email confirmation immediately after purchase.
Print the confirmation email or write down your Member ID number (your unique FitOn Health identifier) and prepare to bring one of these with you to your first visit.
